Confidentiality & Usage Policy

The data you can see and submit in this app is the property of VSE Solar Electric Pvt. Ltd. ("VSE", "the Company") and is shared with you in confidence. Depending on your role and assignment it includes:

• Project details, sites, phases, milestones, and progress.
• Financial information — budgets, expenses, bills of materials (BOM), and costs.
• Daily site reports, photographs, and uploaded documents.
• Personnel and vendor assignments and contact details.

This information is not public — treat everything in the app as "Company Confidential" unless told otherwise in writing.

While you use this app you agree that you will not:

• Take screenshots, photographs, or screen recordings of confidential screens — except where the app itself asks you to attach a work photo.
• Share, forward, copy, export, or post any information from the app to anyone not authorised to receive it, inside or outside the Company.
• Show the app's contents to, or let it be used by, any unauthorised person.
• Use the information for anything other than your assigned VSE work.

You agree that you will keep your device locked, keep your login credentials and app PIN secret, and report a lost device or any suspected leak to your manager immediately.

You can only see the projects, sites, and figures your role and assignment allow — the app and server enforce this, and sensitive financial and document access is further restricted. For security and accountability, your activity is logged and may be audited — including sign-ins, the records you open in administrative areas, and the device you use.

• Your account is tied to your registered device — signing in from another device may be blocked until an administrator re-registers you.
• Your app PIN and any biometric unlock are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
• Information loaded from the server is held in memory only and is cleared when you sign out.

To operate the service we process: your identity (name, employee code, role), the project data you view and the entries you submit (reports, expenses, attachments), and basic device information (model, Android version) when you send an error report. This is carried out under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, for the legitimate purpose of running the Company's project operations.

Project and work records are retained for as long as the Company needs them for business, legal, and audit purposes. On-device data (session, PIN, cached information) is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

If you leave the Company or your role changes, your access may be revoked at any time. On revocation you must stop using the app and must not retain, copy, or disclose any Company information you accessed through it.
